The project aims to improve maternal and child healthcare in 15 Epicenters in rural areas in Ghana addressing needs on both the supply and demand side. By building up basic health care services, mother, newborns and children have improved access to health care. Staff of the Epicenter clinics is trained, thus they advise mothers to basic health care and nutrition and breastfeeding practices. Through media campaigns and trainings 15.000 people are informed and sensitized about maternal and child healthcare and nutrition.
