Medical research is an important building block of tomorrow's healthcare. Young physicians should be won for science but not lost for the clinical work.
This is made possible by optimal working conditions at the Else Kröner-Forschungskolleg (EKFK) Magdeburg, where a combination of research and clinical work within an interdisciplinary training programme allows to develop the career as a Clinician Scientist.
The special feature is the combination of excellent independent research with the clinical professional development. Here, young physicians have the opportunity to spend 12 months fully dedicated to research, combining theory, practice, and academic/scientific exchange with other researchers
