The Else Kröner-Research School Göttingen promotes the career of so-called Clinician Scientists.

The Else Kröner-Research School aims to promote the career of young physicians as so-called Clinician Scientists, who combine patient care and medical research.

The scholars develop research projects, in which basic research is interlinked with clinical questions. The findings are translated into improved patient care in the field of gastrointestinal malignoma.

The Research school provides protected time for research and intensive supervision and mentoring as well as further education and training.
