Funding is provided for partnership projects of up to €50,000 for a maximum period of two years (subject to the availability of funds). The amount of funding depends on the scope of the interventions and the needs of the partner institution. Subsequent funding is possible after the initial project period. For this purpose, a new application for funding must be submitted. The maximum funding period for a partnership is five years.

The Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH is responsible for implementing the Hospital Partnerships - Partners Strengthen Health initiative. The GIZ team advises partners on all content-related and administrative issues.

Forms and information on the current funding round (until 22nd of November 2021) are available on the following website: https://hospitalpartnerships.org
